Crock Pot Beef Roast With Mushroom Sauce

This is one of the few meals I make in the crockpot again and again. It’s simply, easy, healthy, and delicious, without being cost prohibitive. You can eat it as a meal all by itself, or add a salad and rolls. If you’re new to cooking, this is an easy dish to start with, and it will almost always yield fantastic results.
To make beef roast and mushroom sauce in the crockpot, you’ll need chuck roast, mushrooms, carrots, celery, onions, broth (can be vegetable, chicken, or beef), tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce, cream of mushroom soup, salt, pepper, parsley, a bay leaf, and a little flour. You’ll want to start by taking the roast out of the refrigerator to let it rest. After you rub in a little olive oil, salt, and pepper, then sear it. Then, all you have to do is add all the ingredients, including the roast, to the crockpot, and let it cook. If you want, you can cook it overnight (it smells amazing the next morning), or you can cook it in an afternoon and it’ll be ready for dinner.
This cozy, classic dish is perfect for fall and winter weather, and it can be quite cost effective when you catch roasts on sale. You can find both the ingredient list and the recipe for Crock Pot Beef Roast With Mushroom Sauce at Slow Cooker Society.
Sweet Chili Garlic Glazed Salmon

Growing up on the coast, we had a lot of access to fresh seafood. When the weather got cooler, my father would go pick out a few salmon steaks and grill them outside. Those are some of my favorite family memories, and though we don’t live as close to each other as we’d like, I still enjoy making dishes that we used to share.
That’s why something like this Sweet Chili Garlic Glazed Salmon is the perfect way to kick off the fall season. With eight simple ingredients and a 15-minute prep time, this dish will be popular among family and friends. It’s healthy, delicious, and pairs well with any green vegetable – I would suggest grilling asparagus alongside the salmon.
You can also pair this with carbohydrates – it works well with wild rice, couscous, orzo, or even a baked potato. If you’d rather have a healthier option, a Caesar salad or fruit salad will do the trick.
Before you begin cooking, make sure that you have all the ingredients on hand. You’ll need orange marmalade, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, salt and pepper, green onions, and garlic. These are all combined to create the glaze.
If you’d like to try this recipe, you can find it and the ingredient list on The Recipe Critic.

Mdou Moctar Performing "SONG" Live
Mdou Moctar (b. 1986) is a Tuareg songwriter and musician based in Agadez, Niger, and is one of the first musicians to perform modern electronic adaptations of Tuareg guitar music. He first became famous through a subtle trading network of cellphones and memory cards in West Africa.
Mdou Moctar is a popular wedding performer and sings about Islam, education, love and peace in Tamasheq. He plays a left-handed Fender in a takamba and assouf style. He is originally from Abalak and has also lived in Tchintabaraden and Libya.
Moctar says that in Agadez, guitar is like football in Brazil: Only about 10% don’t play. His first guitar was one he made himself as a kid with a box and the cable from a bicycle brake.
The language he sings in is of a Berber language family called “Tamachiq,” more frequently called “Taureg” in the West.

This travel camper trailer is amazing, and weighs less than 300 pounds

Want a really light camping travel trailer to tow with basically any vehicle? Any car or even motorbike can tow 300 pounds. That’s what we have with this travel trailer, and its roomy inside, too.
The company, based in New Mexico, builds these by hand from composite materials. They’re going to have two trailers, and the lighter one, built from carbon fiber, weighs in at 216 pounds.
Of course, with this kind of materials and hand assembly, prices are expected to be high, and this one might cost around 30k for the carbon fiber product. However, the other one, just under 300 pounds, is made from chicken feathers mixed with resin, and costs around 10k. One of the coolest features of this is the gullwing doors, so you can see right though and have a lot of open breeze!
