Whoa! Luxury Tractor Trailer

Whoa! Luxury Tractor Trailer

Here’s one of those giant RV luxury trailers. These are the ones made by Luxury Foretravel Motor Coach, it looks like — or at least they’re given credit in the “world of internets.” They do a lot of the Prevost box-style RVs, but the style of their tractor-trailer RVs have caught quite a few peoples’ eyes.

There’s a few of these giant custom RV tractor trailer set-ups that’ve been done using the Kenworth T2000. One notable example is the Cirque Zavatta trucks. You might have seen them online. They’re a bunch of burgundy tractor trailers — look like fancy horse trailers — with light grey or white strips and flourishes paint on the sides (see the picture). Cirque Zavatta is the name of a circus (in Mexico, I think). It just means Zavatta Circus.  You can also recognize them because a lot of them have murals of horses reared up on their hind legs painted on the sides.

Actually, there’s another set of these very similar fancy tractor trailers which also belongs to a circus — a French circus . They do all their trucks in blue (click here to see). This silver motorhome has a look that I haven’t really seen anywhere else on the internet (as you can see in the photo above).

The luxury RV builder Foretravel sells these things in the range the low hundreds of thousands over a million — like $1.2 million. For most people, that kind of money would mean a luxury house would be possible, but for others they love the road. On sale, $1.2 million RVs can come down to the high hundreds of thousands, like $800,000.

One good thing about used is of course the lower price — hundreds of thousands of dollars less. One good thing about new ones though is the warranty. Foretravel offers a 2 year / 24 thousand mile limited warranty. But it depends what you want to buy. Another, much more economical option is to convert a tractor with a custom sleeper conversion or just convert and toterhome-ize a trailer for it.
