Want a really light camping travel trailer to tow with basically any vehicle? Any car or even motorbike can tow 300 pounds. That’s what we have with this travel trailer, and its roomy inside, too.
The company, based in New Mexico, builds these by hand from composite materials. They’re going to have two trailers, and the lighter one, built from carbon fiber, weighs in at 216 pounds.
Of course, with this kind of materials and hand assembly, prices are expected to be high, and this one might cost around 30k for the carbon fiber product. However, the other one, just under 300 pounds, is made from chicken feathers mixed with resin, and costs around 10k. One of the coolest features of this is the gullwing doors, so you can see right though and have a lot of open breeze!
