This is what Drone Racing looks like

drone racing

This is high-speed obstacle course drone racing.

These are 250-size race quads. You can pick up a cheap ready-to-fly one for a couple hundred dollars, but you’ll still need to buy batteries, a charger, FPV gear, and props in bulk. Expect to spend $500ish on a full set up for a beginner quad, or a bit less if you scratch build and use super cheap low end FPV gear. Once you have all the shit, though, you can make a cheap one perform like this for not too much more.

“The rather chubby tigers played cat and mouse with the drone until a 2 or 3-year-old tiger swiped at the camera, a large paw filling its screen before losing signal.

“The group proceeded to tear the drone apart, with one literally chewing on the gadget as if it was a bird of prey.

“Unlike a bird, the drone started to give off smoke, which scared off the surrounding tigers.”
